Can our nacani CBD products be combined?

Our product range now includes a variety of effective CBD products for dogs and horses, such as CBD oil, CBD treats, and herbal blends with CBD.

That’s why we’ve been getting asked more and more often lately whether our CBD products can be combined with one another and what you need to keep in mind when doing so. We’d like to answer these questions in this post!

Can nacani's CBD products be used together?

First things first: Of course, all nacani products can be combined with one another. So you can give your pet CBD oil and CBD treats, or you can supplement our herbal blends with our oil and treats—depending on what works best for your pet and what fits best into your daily routine. Of course, you can also mix it up every day and use different CBD products. 

What should I keep in mind if I want to combine multiple CBD products?

Basic Information on Dosage

If you want to use multiple CBD products, you should always keep a rough idea of how much CBD your dog is allowed to have per day. This generally depends on your pet’s body weight. 

For dogs, we recommend a daily dose of approximately 0.5 to 1 mg of CBD per kilogram of body weight. Ideally, the recommended daily dose should be divided into at least two doses throughout the day to maintain a consistent CBD level.

By the way, this dosage recommendation is only a rough guide. Every animal’s body works a little differently, so CBD affects each animal differently. Start with a small amount and see what dosage works best for your pet. If this is your first time using CBD products, it’s best to start with the lower end of the recommended dosage range and then gradually increase it. 

And don’t worry—it’s hard to go wrong here. Even higher doses of CBD don’t cause any serious side effects; at worst, they might lead to symptoms like loss of appetite, drowsiness, and diarrhea. If you notice any of these signs in your dog, simply reduce the dose a little and increase it more gradually once your dog’s body has adjusted to the new product. Our CBD oil is a full-spectrum oil that is 100% natural and made exclusively from hemp. By the way, because of the terpenes it contains, it’s not suitable for cats!

Combination of CBD products

So much for the theory. If you want to use multiple CBD products, all you need to do is do a little math. Once you know how much CBD your pet can have per day, you just need to check how much CBD is in each unit of the products you want to use.

Examples of possible combinations

To illustrate this a bit better, let’s take the example of Matilda, a 30-kilogram female Weimaraner. The recommended daily dose of CBD for her is between 15 and 30 milligrams.

Assuming Matilda has never tried CBD before, we’ll start with the lower dosage—about 15 mg per day. There are many ways she can get those 15 mg of CBD, such as through treats alone, the oil alone, or a combination of several CBD products.

The possibilities are virtually endless. It all depends on which products you want to use and which ones you prefer to use in different situations. For example, most of our customers like to give the oil at home and the treats on the go.
