Here's how to calculate the correct amount
The calculator does the math for you: Enter your dog's weight, and you'll get the correct dosage in just a few seconds.
There’s a simple guideline to follow: 0.5 to 1 mg of CBD per kilogram of body weight per day. For a dog weighing 10 kg, that works out to about 5 to 10 mg of CBD per day. It’s best to spread this daily dose out over the course of the day, rather than giving it all at once. And don’t worry—it’s hard to go wrong with this.
Two Examples to Get You Thinking
Small dog, 10 kg, using CBD oil at 2.8%. Daily requirement is about 5 to 10 mg of CBD. Since each drop of the 2.8% oil contains 1 mg of CBD, that amounts to 5 to 10 drops.
Large dog, 30 kg, using CBD oil at 5.6%. Daily requirement: approximately 15 to 30 mg of CBD. The 5.6% solution contains 2 mg of CBD per drop, so the dog needs about 8 to 15 drops.
Important: These are all just guidelines meant to help you get a general idea. The actual amount needed may vary.
How many times a day?
It's best to divide the calculated daily amount into two doses, for example, in the morning and in the evening. This ensures a consistent level of support throughout the day. During exciting times, such as New Year's Eve, you can give a little more for a short period.
